I'm a Midwest-based photographer and for the last four years I've been invited in and entrusted to preserve one of the most important days of people's lives and I think that’s pretty cool.
I genuinely enjoy meeting new people and helping welcome the two of you into marriage. My approach to wedding photography is very hands off. I find myself making my best photos candidly throughout your day, blending in with your friends and family, earning their trust — which in turn makes your photos sing with honesty.
I found photography through my Big Brother in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. He put a camera in my hands, taught me how to see, and brought me to my first weddings. I've been running with it ever since.

Every collection includes either full-day or half-day (think elopements) coverage with both film and digital photography. You'll receive a gallery full of carefully edited images delivered through an online gallery, along with full print rights so you can print your photos wherever and whenever you want.
I'm a solo shooter, so when you book me, you get me. Not an associate or someone you haven’t met.

Yes and no. For portraits, I'll give you direction on where to stand, and how to position yourselves because that's part of getting a great image. I won't ask you to fake a moment that isn't there or repeat something you just did naturally. My job is to watch, be ready, and capture what's real. Sometimes that means staying out of the way, and sometimes it means saying "stand right here, the light is perfect."

Yes. I am available to travel domestically and internationally. Pricing for accommodations will be built into your collection.

During peak season, I try to get your gallery finished and sent to you within 4-6 weeks after your wedding day. Feel free to ask for a lead time within the days after your wedding.
